FIRE ON PALMYRA DISPLACES ELDERLY RESIDENT

City of Orange Firefighters along with Firefighters from the Orange County Fire Authority responded to a working fire in the garage and backyard of a house at 1847 W Palmyra Avenue around 11:24 pm on July 4th.

Arriving Firefighters found fire in the garage of the house and a car on fire when they arrived. It took about 30 minute to completely knock the fire down. Fireworks may have been the cause but that remains under investigation.

An elderly resident of the house escaped to the street and was uninjured.
