An elderly woman driving a car turning left from Katella Avenue onto southbound Tustin Street lost control of the car, jumped the curb, and slammed into a bus stop with at least one person, possibly 2, sitting on the bench. The Orange Fire Department responded to the accident and declared it a Mass Casualty Incident.
The Orange Police Public Information Officer told us that 2 people were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries. It was not clear if the elderly driver was one of the injured, or both were on the bench.
