DOG KILLED IN MORNING APARTMENT FIRE

City of Orange Firefighters assisted by Anaheim and Orange County Fire Authority Firefighters were dispatched to an apartment fire at 235 W. Lincoln Avenue shortly after 9 a.m. Friday Morning.

The first arriving fire unit reported a working fire in one apartment on the first floor. That apartment was completely gutted by the fire and several others were damaged.

A total of 6 residents were evaluated by Paramedics with 5 of them being transported by ambulance to area hospitals.

A total of 6 apartments were damaged with 6 adults and 6 children being displaced from their homes. The Red Cross responded to the fire to assist the displaced residents.

One dog did not survive the fire.
