In a move that seemed to surprise even her, Brandy Romero was appointed to be the new Chairperson of the Park Planning and Community Events Commission by her fellow Commissioners.
The City of Orange Park Planning and Community Events Commission advises the City Council on matters regarding city parks, public events, and more.
Although relatively new to the Commission, Romero has significant experience organizing and raising funds for public events in Orange. She was instrumental in saving Treats in the Streets when the City was unable to fund the event.
